Overview

Salamati is a portable, affordable, smart medical device that can generate the vital signs of the patient and send it on real time basis to the doctor and caregiver. Salamati is made up of two parts: a patch that will be attached to the user chest and a bracelet. Both are wirelessly connected to each other and to the device’s own mobile application. Salamati monitors patients’ ECG, heart rate, body temperature, and SPO2.it collect data to analyze and alert patients.
What is special about Salamati, comparing it to other monitoring devices (wearables), is that it can deliver the data, especially the ECG, at real time remotely through its application to the patient’s doctor while taking all these types of vital signs from the same device. Furthermore, our plan is to develop the device and its mobile application in a unique way to make it user friendly and to allow anyone with any background to use it.
Concerning the mobile application, it will be displaying all the patient’s data, saving it in the database and notifying the patient and the doctor with an alert for any abnormality. Also, a communication between them can be established since it will be used in two kinds of accounts, each having an ID: one for patients and another for doctors or caregivers.
