Overview
Many industries now rely on catalysts to make reactions faster and more efficient. Therefore, our project focuses on the eco-friendly synthesis of a versatile catalyst that can find application in various chemical reactions (industrial application).
Nanoparticles can undergo synthesis through a range of techniques (physcial and cemical methods), yet the green approach stands out as the top choice. This method is environmentally friendly, as it involves utilizing plant-based materials (bay leaves), ensuring sustainability throughout the catalyst production process. Notably, it also offers economic advantages, as it is a cost-effective alternative compared to various other methods, and it operates with high energy efficiency, making it a favorable choice for both environmnet and econoimic considerations.
Importantly, this catalyst isn’t limited to industrial purposes; it also serves environmental functions, such as removing heavy metals from water through adsorption and transforming plastic waste into valuable chemicals through catalytic pyrolysis reactions.
Participating in the BIIS Conference offers numerous benefits for my project and me. It provides a platform for knowledge exchange and learning from experts and researchers, raising my project’s visibility and helping me receive essential feedback for its development. Additionally, it is important for networking to connect with potential collaborators and partners.
